ASBURY PARK EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

The undersigned agree as follows and will recommend this to their constituents for ratification:
1. Duration: July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006
2. Salaries:
All certificated staff – 4.8% inclusive of increment eff. 9/1/2005
10 month non-certificated staff – 5.0% inclusive of increment eff. 9/1/05
12 month non-certificated staff – 5.0% inclusive of increment eff. 7/1/05
All guides to be mutually developed and agreed upon.
3. Extra-curriculars: coaching and advisor stipends to increase by 4.8%. No other extra pay rates will increase.
4. All other language of the 2001-2005 agreement will remain unchanged.
5. Negotiations for a successor agreement to this one will commence on or about October 15, 2005.
6. In the event an agreement on the successor to this agreement is not reached by July 1. 2006, on behalf of its members, the APEA waives any claim to the payment of increments. Increments, if any, will only be paid at the ratification of an agreement that is effective July 1, 2006.
