    INTERLOCUTORY DECISION

On May 4, 1987 the Petitioner, Monmouth Beach Board of Education, filed a Scope of Negotiations Petition seeking to permanently restrain an arbitration brought by the Monmouth Beach Teachers Association. The Petition was accompanied by an Application for Interim Relief and an Order to Show Cause seeking a temporary restraint of the arbitration pending a final Commission decision.

The Order was signed and made returnable for May 7, 1987, at which time the parties appeared before me and made oral argument.

For the reasons set forth on the record, the application

    for temporary restraints is denied.

The scope petition will continue to be processed and will be the subject of a final Commission decision.
