Arbitrator at American Arbitration Association since 1985 for Labor and Employment panels. Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law teaching Collective Bargaining (1991-2002). Prior faculty experience at New York Law School teaching seminar on Discrimination and the Law. Received Jeffords Prize for Distinguished Writing for Adjunct Faculty. Also taught at Cornell/ILR in New York City and currently teaching at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations teaching a class on ADA and the Law. Arbitrator for New Jersey State Board of Mediation (since 1997), United States District Court (since 1991), FINRA (since 2003), and Mediator for New York Supreme Court - Commercial Panel; and United States District Court - Southern District of New York.

MEDIATION AND FACT-FINDING EXPERIENCE:
Mediation work has focused on commercial disputes from the New York Supreme Court Commercial Division; cases from federal court including the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey; cases from the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Handled approximately 14 Storm Sandy insurance dispute issues in both New York and New Jersey.

Previously served as a contract mediator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Newark, New Jersey.

Handled hundreds of mediations of disputes involving commercial, construction, real estate, employment, and FINRA cases. The matters in dispute also included intellectual property issues including restrictive covenants and trade secrets.

Have engaged in extensive discovery monitoring of cases. Mediation has primarily been through court appointment in Superior Court of New Jersey or U.S. District Court as well as from FINRA and private parties.
