GRIEVANCE ARBITRATION EXPERIENCE:
1980 - present: Served as grievance arbitrator in public and private sectors on select panels as well as AAA, FMCS PERB, PERC, OCB, NY & NJ Port Authority and other general lists. Public sector cases include teachers, police, firefighters, municipal employees, nurses, et al. Private sector cases include airlines, automotive, communications, chemical, electrical workers, EMS, entertainment, hospital, hotel, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, steel, and transportation. Also, federal sector grievance arbitration for several federal agencies such as social security, consumer regulation, customs & border protection, defense, justice, Library of Congress, copyright/trademark (commerce) and transportation. Over 1,000 decisions issued. Issues arbitrated include: arbitrability, computer systems/ forensics, discipline & discharge, fringe benefits,insubordination, job classification, layoffs, management rights, overtime, past practice, productivity, promotions, seniority, sexual harassment, subcontracting and substance abuse.

MEDIATION AND FACT-FINDING EXPERIENCE:
1980 -present: Served as public sector mediator, fact-finder and super-conciliator in over 1,000 disputes in New York, New Jersey and the Washington-Baltimore area. Dispute resolution has involved teachers, police, firefighters, hospital, transit, clerical, corrections, municipal employees, sanitation and OTB. Fact-finding/mediation has included police/firefighter interest arbitration cases as well as impasse resolution in major New York State cities such as NYC, Albany,Buffalo, and Yonkers. Also mediator in NJ: Hanover Twp., Plainfield, Westwood & City of Elizabeth. Also mediator on AAA Employment Panel for employment discrimination and executive/CEO employment contract disputes.

CANCELLATION NOTICE AND FEE (if any): 15 business days or 30 calendar days if multiple days scheduled. Travel Time: When travel time exceeds 4 hours, I charge as follows: one-half (1/2) day @ per diem rate.
