GRIEVANCE ARBITRATION EXPERIENCE:
I have arbitrated and mediated more than 4,000 cases covering the full range of contract, statutory, disciplinary and interest arbitration issues in several hundred private sector industries and public sector operations. Contract designations have included, among others, National Hockey League with NHL Players Association, National Football League with NFL Player Association, Verizon with CWA and IBEW, UPS with Teamsters, Metro North with UTU, DGA and SAG with Entertainment Industry, NYTU with NY Post and Daily News, SIU and MEBA with Maritime Industry, ILA with Longshore Industry, Elevator Constructors with National Elevator Industry, various school districts with AFT and NEA unions, State of NY with various unions, Major League Baseball Salary Disputes, and many others.

MEDIATION AND FACT-FINDING EXPERIENCE:
In New York State since 1972 and in New Jersey since 1976, I have mediated and "fact-found" several hundred public and private-sector labor-management collective bargaining impasses pursuant to designations by PERB, PERC, OCB, mini-PERBS in Suffolk and Onondaga counties, NYSERB and New Jersey State Mediation Board as well as by direct designation of the parties. I have also mediated several hundred contract grievance and employment law disputes.

PER DIEM FEES:
GRIEVANCE ARBITRATION $2,800 + expensesINTEREST ARBITRATION $
CANCELLATION NOTICE AND FEE (if any): $2,800 unless cancelled with more than three weeks’ written notice for a single day and six weeks’ written notice for multiple days. Hearing Time: My $2,800 per diem charge applies to all or any part of a hearing day. If a hearing exceeds eight hours in a single day, there will be a prorated per diem charge. Week-end hearings will be charged at time and one-half. Study Time: My $2,800 per diem charge applies pro rata to actual time spent reviewing testimony, exhibits, arguments, and citations, as well as preparing and processing my Opinion and Award. Postponements and Cancellations. My $2,800 per diem charge applies for all postponed or cancelled hearing dates unless I receive three weeks’ notice for single days and six weeks’ written notice for multiple days.
