GRIEVANCE ARBITRATION EXPERIENCE:
Began practicing as full time arbitrator in 2012. Issues involve: discipline and discharge, alcohol and drugs, insubordination, absenteeism, contract interpretation, safety, arbitrability, past practice, management rights, working conditions and violence and other threats.

MEDIATION AND FACT-FINDING EXPERIENCE:
Commissioner of Mediation and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services from 1977 to 2012. Resolved over 2000 collective bargaining disputes, grievance mediation cases, and employment mediation cases involving all types of industries, employers and unions varying from trucking to healthcare and public sector.

CANCELLATION NOTICE AND FEE (if any): If the scheduled hearing is postponed or canceled with notice of less than 21 days then a per diem fee for each day of hearing shall be charged.
