GRIEVANCE ARBITRATION EXPERIENCE:
Extensive experience hearing and deciding all types of contract and disciplinary disputes including those involving police, fire, teachers, corrections, as well as a wide range of employees working for state, county, village and town employers. Member of numerous arbitration panels including those between the NYC Department of Education/United Federation of Teachers, NYC Department of Education/District Council 37, Nassau County and the Civil Service Employees Association, Orange County and the Deputy Sheriffs PBA, Nassau County and Nassau County Correction Officers. Also serves as Master Disciplinary Arbitrator in NYC for New York State and the Civil Service Employees Association and as the statewide Select Contract Arbitrator for New York State and the Public Employees Federation.
MEDIATION AND FACT-FINDING EXPERIENCE:
Extensive experience serving as mediator and fact finder for NYS Public Employment Relations Board in disputes involving labor unions and villages, towns, counties and schools.
